For a reform, a threat of revolution is necessary. - Bhagat Singh

The root cause of corruption lies in the mutual conflicts of masses. To resolve these conflicts comes into play a 'supreme common power - the government'. For such a society to function, its government must function well and anybody rebelling must be destroyed. The ultimate judiciary control over the masses in the hands of few is bound to lead to a corrupt state. So corruption is the fundamental design flaw of such a system.

There have been a great number of revolutions through out the history and an enormous number of revolutionaries made the ultimate sacrifice for the betterment of the system, and yet not a single clean state emerged out of all of this.
